Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center
PSNC delivers several laboratories within PL-LAB2020, namely SDN, ICN, IoT and Wireless. It also operates the central services supporting PL-LAB2020 infrastructure management, monitoring and user access.
Software Defined Networks Lab
SDN laboratory at PSNC is divided into four domains based on type of devices:
- 4x HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 server with DPDK
- 4x Pica8 P-5101 switch
- 4x NoviSwitch 2128 switch
- 4x QuantaMesh BMS T3048-LY8 bare-metal switch
Internally each of these groups is interconnected directly in full mesh topology and all groups are also interconnected directly between them providing quasi full mesh in the whole PSNC SDN Lab. Apart from that each particular device provides two dedicated links to network access nodes enabling additional data plane connectivity to other resources. All provided data plane links are fiber 10GE and each of devices has up to 8 links.
Information Centric Networks Lab
ICN Laboratory offers:
- 4x HP ProLiant DL 380 gen 9 server (two Xeon E5-2650v3 CPU, 128GB RAM, GPU NVidia K5200, 1.2TB HDD + 200GB SSD and data plane four 10GE links attached to access network routers)
Internet of Things Lab
IoT laboratory of PSNC provides five different complete Libelium kits (http://www.libelium.com):
- Smart Water IoT Vertical Kit
- Smart Parking IoT Vertical Kit
- Smart Cities IoT Vertical Kit
- Smart Environment IoT Vertical Kit
- Evaluation Kit
Wireless Networks Lab
PSNC Wireless Network Laboratory provides:
- 5x Advantech UNO-3083G industrial computer (Intel i7 processor, 16 GB memory, SSD drives), equipped with GPS receivers, IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO 3×3, LTE (2×2 MIMO) and Bluetooth wireless interfaces
- 5x ECN-680AW-H61 industrial computer (Intel i5 processor, 2 GB memory, TPM module, SSD drive), equipped with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n MIMO 2×2 WLAN and programmable Bluetooth interfaces
